The Brief
A new build outside Houston — four bedrooms, four thousand square feet, set on a prime lot overlooking a man-made lake. Designed from the ground up with complete finish selection and full furnishings, including floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open the living space entirely to the outdoors and the water beyond.
Every material decision was intentional: a strict palette of black and white anchored by brushed gold hardware and statement lighting throughout. The brief called for a space that could hold two energies simultaneously — masculine and feminine, sleek and warm, bold and livable. Custom drapery, bespoke furniture pieces, and considered lighting at every turn. A home built for a couple who entertain with intention and live without apology.
The result is a residence that announces itself quietly and holds its standard in every room.
