The Brief

A home held for over twenty years — summers spent, memories made, family gathered across generations. What it needed was more room to hold all of it.

A three-season addition was designed off the newly renovated kitchen, accessible from both the front and back deck — a space that functions as living room, dining room, and guest room simultaneously. Indoor-outdoor furniture that moves easily between inside and out. A sofa that converts to a sleeper for the moments when one more person needs to stay. A dining table sized for a real meal or a long game of bid whist on a summer night.

The entry sets the tone before a single step inside — a wine rack console that announces this is a home that knows how to host. A capiz shell chandelier overhead that catches the light like something found on the shore — and when the door opens, moves with the breeze like a wind chime. An ornate mirror. Fresh flowers. The house exhales before you even cross the threshold.

A neutral palette throughout. Nothing competing with the Vineyard itself.
