A four-bedroom duplex in the city — double height ceilings, a loft overlooking the living space below, a private bedroom balcony, and a rooftop terrace above it all. The bones were exceptional. What it needed was a point of view.

He came with a vision but no window coverings, no objects, and a previous designer who hadn’t quite heard him. What followed was a full creative collaboration across every level of the home — enhancing selections already made, completing what was missing, and bringing warmth and intention to a space that had the architecture but not yet the soul.

The result is a bachelor’s home that entertains without apology. A glass dining table on sculptural chrome legs beneath cascading globe pendants. A stacked stone fireplace rising floor to ceiling, flanked by wingback chairs in dove gray, a cream shag rug beneath them. A bedroom that retreats from the city without ignoring it — a tufted charcoal headboard reaching toward the ceiling, a sputnik chandelier overhead, private balcony beyond the floor to ceiling glass.

A space to work. A space to play. A space to live in the city at the scale the city deserves.
